STANDARDS AND POLICIES All clients must sign a contract which provides several non-compete clauses, protecting your customers from being swayed to switch to another ISP. The ISP contract also guarantees no contact will be made between us and your direct customers. ISP customers utilizing the basic service are expected to provide email, and any other Internet services themselves. ISP services include all aspects of connecting an end user to the Internet through a dynamically assigned IP address through a PPP connection, and newsgroups. All other services that you wish to include in your sales to an end user are your responsibility, unless Optional Services are purchased. Busy Signal Policy. All ISP lines operate at a modem ratio. We make every effort to operate all sites at or under this ratio using various monitoring tools and call reports from the telcos. In the event a site's utilization grows beyond this ratio, we will make every effort to correct the problem. It is our policy to provide ISP service without busy signals. The only method of tracking this statistic reliably is through the actual telecom provider. In some areas in the country we simply resell services and have no real control of the modem/user ratio. Every effort is made to work only with companies that have a record of customer satisfaction. We believe our service to be the most reliable in the world. Contract Policy. Contracts with ISP's are the only way we can be assured to recover to costs we incur when activating a new reseller and handling our responsibilities to you. We keep startup costs low and slowly recover the costs associated with providing a reseller system over the course of a contract. For this reason, there is a early penalty for breaking the contract should you simply choose to cancel. Refer to the contract for this information. |
