Instant Access has one hosting plan, and there's nothing to upgrade. If your website needs more disk space than the plan includes, your account simply gets more space automatically, and you pay a small fee for the extra. You don't need to upgrade for more space
There are no bigger or smaller plans to switch between. When your website, email and databases grow past 10 GB, your account gets the extra space automatically. You don't need to order anything or open a ticket, and nothing on your site has to move. The extra is charged at $0.45 per GB.
How to see how much you're using
Log in to cPanel and look at the Statistics panel on the home page. Disk Usage shows your total space, including website files, email and databases, and Bandwidth shows this month's data transfer. See Understanding cPanel Statistics: Disk Space, Bandwidth and Databases.
Often the extra space is taken up by things nobody needs, such as old backup files, large mailboxes and error_log files. How to Find the Large Files and Folders Eating Your Disk Space shows how to find them.
Common questions
Will my website go down if I go over 10 GB?
No. The extra space is added automatically, so your website and email keep working.
My site is slow or shows "Resource Limit Is Reached". Will more space help?
No. Speed is limited by CPU, memory and processes, not disk space. See cPanel Resource Usage Explained: CPU, Memory and Entry Process Limits. Can I host a second website?
