The easiest way to log in to cPanel is straight from your Instant Access client area. One click signs you in to your hosting control panel without typing your cPanel username or password, so it works even if you have forgotten them.
How to log in to cPanel from the client area
- Go to https://instantaccess.net/accounts/clientarea.php and sign in with the email address and password you use for billing.
- In the top menu, click Services > My Services.
- Click the hosting plan you want to manage. This opens the product details page for that account.
- Click the Log in to cPanel button.
- cPanel opens in a new tab (or the same tab, depending on your browser), already signed in. You land on the Tools page, the main cPanel home screen.
That's it. The client area creates a one-time, secure login link for you each time, so there is nothing to remember and no password to type.
Why use single sign-on?
- No extra password to remember. Your client area login is enough.
- Handy if you forgot your cPanel password. Log in this way, then set a new password from inside cPanel (see the related guides below).
- Fewer failed logins. Typing the wrong cPanel password several times can get your IP address temporarily blocked by the server firewall. Single sign-on avoids that.
Other ways to reach cPanel
You can also log in to cPanel directly at https://example.com/cpanel or https://example.com:2083 (replace example.com with your own domain). If your domain isn't pointed at the Instant Access Internet Services servers yet, use https://secure.instantaccess.net:2083. Direct login needs your cPanel username and password, which were sent in your hosting welcome email.
Troubleshooting
I don't see a "Log in to cPanel" button
Make sure you clicked the hosting plan itself, not a domain registration. Domain-only services don't have a cPanel login. If the hosting service shows as Pending, Suspended or Terminated, the button won't work until the account is active again - check Billing for any unpaid invoices or open a ticket.
The button opens a blank page or an error
- Allow pop-ups for instantaccess.net - some browsers block the new tab.
- Try a private/incognito window to rule out an old cookie or a browser extension.
- If you use a VPN or a strict firewall at work, try another network. cPanel runs on port 2083, which some office networks block.
I have more than one hosting account
Each hosting plan has its own cPanel. Under Services > My Services, click the plan for the domain you want to work on, then use that plan's Log in to cPanel button.
Suddenly I can't reach cPanel, email or the website at all
Repeated failed logins to cPanel, email, FTP or SSH can make the server firewall temporarily block your IP address. Everything on the server then times out from your location while it still works for everyone else. Find your IP at whatismyipaddress.com and open a support ticket with it so we can unblock you.
I have two-factor authentication turned on
If you've enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) in cPanel, you may still be asked for the six-digit code from your authenticator app after clicking the button. Keep your phone handy.
