Backups & Restores
Your site is copied to an offsite facility on a regular schedule, and restoring it back is something you can do yourself.
What It Is
A backup is a stored copy of your website and its database, kept somewhere separate from the server your site actually runs on, so a problem with one doesn’t take out the other.
What It Does For You
- Your account is copied to an offsite backup facility with built-in redundancy
- Backups run automatically — no plugin to install, nothing to remember
- If something goes wrong — a bad plugin update, an accidental deletion, a hack — you can roll back to an earlier point
- Restores are available directly from your account, without waiting on a support ticket
How We Handle It
Backup access lives in your account dashboard alongside the rest of your site management tools. You can view available restore points and trigger a restore yourself, any time, without needing to contact us first. As with any backup system, we recommend keeping an additional copy of anything mission-critical — we provide this as a courtesy and a safety net, not as a guarantee, and we say so plainly rather than bury it in fine print.
Restores you control
No ticket required to roll back a backup — it’s a self-service option in your dashboard, available the moment you need it.
